This has got to be the best farm ever there’s a man and a woman called Julie and Andy they are perfectionists on farming they taught me everything that I need to know about animals now I’m in Moulton college doing small animal care level 1. I’ve achieved my dream because of them I can’t thank them enough for everything they have given me.

Absolutely brilliant for a birthday party today. Took time and effort to introduce the animals to all of our guys who have learning disabilities. Very friendly and lovely family with beautiful animals. Would definitely recommend them for any event. Thanks again

I contacted HGCF following a training session for Senco’s. From the first point of contact Julie and Andy were professional and prompt. It could not have been easier to organise. Once the sessions were arranged all the relevant risk assessments were shared with school Julie and Andy arrived promptly for each session, bring all the relevant equipment to set up before the children arrived.

There were 10 children in the session- chosen for a variety of SEN and social needs. These ranged from reception age to Y5. Pre and post assessments indicated a marked increase in the self –esteem of the children involved in the sessions. Observations by our staff noticed improved social interactions between the children, they were independently helping each other, longer periods of focus and concentration were observed, they asked questions of Julie and Andy and treated the animals with care and consideration.

Julie and Andy listened to the children’s interests and brought along particular animals the children wanted to learn about and meet. The memories those children will have of their sessions will last a very long time and the impact of HGCF involvement with the children has been significant and I’m sure long lasting. I would thoroughly recommend them to any other setting for therapeutic support.
